Sustainability
The TransAlentejo Walking Trails Network considers a structuring objective to be aligned with the SDGs Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 proposed, in 2015, by the United Nations.
Topics such as Eradicating Poverty, Healthy Living, Quality Education, Reducing Inequalities, Protection of Aquatic and Land Life and Partnerships for Development are goals to be achieved with TransAlentejo.

The best hiking routes
The walking routes created have a common communicational concept, are supported by informative guides with harmonized images, use high-quality maps on military charts and highlight points of interest of natural and cultural value.

Walking Festival
The TransAlentejo Walking Festival, from 2021 to 2023, and the Alentejo Walking Festival, in 2024, were the great moments for promoting the network of walking routes and the privileged means of training territorial teams from municipalities, companies and local associations.
